SPRING BREAK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!!!

If you will be in Rome during the spring break, in particular on Monday April 13th (also known as "Pasquetta"), then we have a community service activity available for you!

We have been invited to participate in and/or contribute to a Spring Party given for the children of Celestina Donato Oasis (Ambrit helped with a pre-winter-break holiday party there, too). A letter with information on how you can help has been emailed to all Ambrit families. If you didn't receive the letter but would like to contribute in some way, send an email inquiry to michelle.falcinelli@ambrit-rome.com for more information.

Saturday bagging

Even teachers come to help with preparing food packages on Saturdays in Trastevere. On Saturday February 14th, Loretta Nannini and Jeanne-Marie Byron collected packages of pasta from gift boxes donated by Telecomitalia to add to the "pacchi cucina" for this week. Jill Wiebe lent a hand on a Saturday in November and followed up by bringing her husband and daughter another Saturday.

STUCO sandwiches

Sandwich making (almost) always takes place on Thursdays, when Student Council has its weekly meeting. There was one week in February, when the distribution was on a Wednesday instead, enabling members of StuCo to participate. As leaders in the Middle School, they did a fantastic job of organizing and completing the task quickly and efficiently.
